Ceramic Foam Filters for Liquid Metal (CFF)

High-porosity alumina (Al2O3) ceramic foam filters (CFF) engineered for the filtration of molten aluminum, copper, and non-ferrous alloys. Featuring a 3D reticulated open-cell structure, these filters trap non-metallic inclusions, oxides, and dross while converting turbulent melt stream into smooth, laminar flow. Available in pore densities ranging from 10 PPI to 60 PPI, they enhance product mechanical properties, drastically reduce scrap rates, and ensure superior surface finish in billet, ingot, and foundry casting applications.
