CPCO-20-G is a gas-fired tunnel oven for curing powder coatings on a continuous overhead conveyor. Parts pass through the tunnel once; the in-oven conveyor length is in the 20 m class (tunnel length 20,250 mm) and parts in a 600 × 2,000 mm work envelope are cured at up to 200 °C. At a 20-minute cure the line speed is about 1.01 m/min.
Indirect heating, clean oven air
Heat is generated in a thermoblock beside the tunnel: the burner fires a combustion chamber and heat exchanger, and the flue gas leaves through the stack without mixing with the oven air. Circulation fans deliver the heated air into the tunnel; it passes through the parts and returns to the thermoblock. This size has two thermoblocks; longer tunnels carry more thermoblocks so the temperature stays even along the tunnel.
Fully bolted panel kit
The body is built from rock-wool filled sandwich panels on a 500 mm module. Panels, angle profiles and frame are joined with bolts and screws; nothing is welded. The oven ships as a flat-packed kit, is erected quickly on site and can later be extended module by module.
Overhead conveyor and openings
The I-beam (I-100) monorail conveyor with X-458 chain and an inverter-driven corner drive runs at 0.3–1.5 m/min. Inlet and outlet openings are narrowed to the part silhouette with adjustable plates; exhaust fans at the openings remove spill-over heat and volatiles. Control panel, gas train and conveyor drive are supplied with the oven.
One line with the powder booth
The oven is sized to work with the PCB-05 cartridge filter powder coating booth, placed on the same conveyor ahead of the oven inlet; booth and oven share the same work envelope.
