The most common thermocouple type for furnace atmosphere and general process measurement. The element sits in a heat-resistant stainless (1.4841) or steel (1.1003) protection tube; each immersion length and diameter is listed as a separate product.
- Type K (NiCr-Ni): up to 1000–1200 °C with a 1.4841 tube
- Type J (Fe-Const): salt baths and furnaces up to 800 °C
- Tube diameter: Ø15 and Ø22 mm · Length: 350–1400 mm
